  12.     I just got a Media Vision ReNO CD-ROM Drive today, and have some
  13. questions; and I'd especially like to hear from anyone who also has this
  14. drive.  First of all, I have an Amiga 3000 with 3.1 and am using its'
  15. "standard" CD driver.

  18.     1)    With the drive installed my hard drive light constantly blinks.  I
  19. take it for granted that this is related to the SCSI bus checking the
  20. CD-ROM drive.....  Is it normal and do all drives do this?

  22.     2)    Right now I only have two CDs to play with.  One, the Grolier
  23. Electronic Encyclopedia, seems to work flawlessly, except that the CD icon
  24. never leaves the screen once the disc is inserted (...even after the disc
  25. is removed); while the other, BCI Clip Art & Fonts, acts normally, with the
  26. CD icon appearing and disappearing as the disc is inserted and removed.  Is
  27. there any reason for this?

  29.     3)    For playing audio CDs, which Amiga player would you recommend?

  31.     4)    Is tha Amiga CD driver fine, or are there benefits to using the
  32. Shareware or commercial drivers?  If so, which driver do you recommend?

  34.     5)    For those who /do/ have this drive, I presently have the DIP
  35. switches set to 1-OFF & 2-ON (...I was a bit unclear from reading the
  36. manual which were the proper settings).  Correct?
